I just love that song.Ĭhinatown is probably the last that really makes me feel deep, simply the nostalgia, reminds me that I'm growing up now. More recently my favourite song became your still a mystery. Obviously having being in a shit state mentally I wanna get better had me in bits So I was so lost in my head but damn I miss those days now because I realise what I had now. I was naive and didn't realise how good I had it. The whole vibe of the song just reminds me that I should have been a better friend.įrom there really all of gone now that just hit like a truck. Really hits deep since it was so real to me. This was what hit me first, I had a very good friend who after some complicated situations we fell apart it happened during the summer. I actually found bleachers from a YouTube video where they used DTTM as the outro music. There’s a reason it’s his most popular □ĪND I MISS THE DAYS OF A LIFE STILL PERMANENTĪny who my top songs in no particular order are: The lyrics and the melody hit me in all the most painful and hopeful ways. Honestly, I think I cried and freaked out my friends lol. I had heard it before, but at the festival, seeing it live, I REALLY fell in love. So, not to be incredibly basic BUT “I wanna get better” was the first song I heard from them, and then I saw them by chance at a festival (I was there for Cage the Elephant…which was crazy good too). Because of that, I think things that have to do with the loss of innocence hit me really hard. I found Bleachers while I was in high school/at a time in my life where I was coming to grips with abuse that happened to me when I was a kid.
